Red Stag Timber has become a market leader in terms of product innovation and manufacturing capacity. Now the company has been recognised as world leaders for our contribution to Energy Efficiency and Conservation in New Zealand by receiving the 2018 EECA award for Large Energy User of the Year.
Red Stag operates in a pristine natural environment and over the past 15 years has taken measures to improve the local and greater environment through various conservation and sustainability measures including but not limited to following the requirements of ISO 14001 and by using logs sourced from forests that are certified as being sustainably managed by the Forest Stewardship Council. This latest achievement relates to establishment of a new on-site energy centre that makes the Red Stag Timber production site carbon neutral.
