Remanufacturing Plant

 

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced, reliable and safety conscious team member to join our Remanufacturing plant. This is a Nightshift position working Monday to Thursday from 3.40pm to 2.20am, with occasional overtime on Fridays.   

Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of scanner optimisation, timber grading, saw operations, and being mechanically minded would be an advantage.

 

Main duties include; 

• Manual handling of timber including wrapping & strapping of timber packets
• Recording with accurate data entry
• Grading timber for defects and quality control  
• Safe set up and operation of machinery
• Application of PUR glue product and maintenance

  

Training opportunities may be available to gain knowledge in finger jointing for the successful candidate. Due to the nature of this role, a high level of fitness, attention to detail, and showing good initiative will be essential.

 

A pre-employment medical and drug test will be required, along with references from at least two previous employers.
