Despatch Team Member - Mon-Fri 6am start

An opportunity has arisen for a new team member to join our busy Despatch Team.  This role will work 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday from 6.00am – 2.30pm.  As part of a team organising and overseeing the loading of trucks with correct customer product orders, the work day has very busy load out periods early morning and mid-afternoon that require high energy, a strong focus on accuracy and a methodical approach to work through the despatches.   You will be an outside person, physically fit with a calm, but assertive communication style.

Our ideal candidate will have previous industry experience and knowledge of despatching and timber products, and the safety requirements of this work environment.   A “can-do” attitude and ability to enter data accurately is also needed, as part of a wider Despatch team.

Ideally, the preferred candidate will have:

      • Organisational and numerical skills
      • The ability to multitask and work to deadlines
      • Confident computer skills
      • Assertive verbal and written communications skills
      • A forklift license is preferred, but not essential.

A pre-employment medical and drug test will be required, along with references from at least two previous employers.  We encourage all staff to be fully vaccinated against Covid 19.
