CUSTOMER SERVICES ASSISTANT

 

Based 5 mins drive south of Rotorua, Red Stag Timber operates NZ's largest timber processing plant, producing quality structural timber for key customers within New Zealand and overseas. An opportunity has arisen for a Customer Services star to join our Sales team.

This is a fixed term position to cover parental leave for up to 12 months, commencing in March. The Customer Services Assistant role supports the Sales Team, by managing orders in the Company's product information system, providing efficient sales administration and customer order management for the NZ domestic market.

Strong communication skills, attention to detail, along with a flexible attitude and proven reliability are key attributes for this role. Hours of work are generally Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 5.00pm, however occasionally promotional activities may require additional hours.

Previous experience in a frontline customer service and/or export documentation role is preferred, although full training will be provided. Accuracy with data entry and documentation, along with confident MS Office computer skills are essential.
